Beacon Hill – Summertime Memories

Right at the very beginning of the summer holidays we went over to the Beacon Hill Country Park, it was a great way to start off the holidays.  We all love this place, it has so much to offer.  I’ve written about this place a few times before, so if you’d like more info head to this post. I also entered The Beacon into the National Trust’s ‘The Nation’s Favourite Walks’, our walk was one of 10  routes hand picked by Julia Bradbury to be published in a new e-booklet.

We also won this lovely prize, an illustrated map of Beacon Hill.  The National Trust launch their online walking booklet today and can be found here. For now here are some photo’s of our day to hopefully inspire you to get out for a walk (ASAP before the weather gets grim).
