Three Tea Cookies – Sunday Baking Club
Afternoon tea week at the Sunday Baking Club. Here is a recipe from a while back, tea leaf cookies. Originally made with some green tea blue sky, this time I tried three different types of tea leaves, including the green tea blue sky, but also jasmine tea and earl grey tea. It’s quite a subtle flavour, but more than anything they are deliciously buttery cookies, crisp sugar on the outside and chewy on the inside. Enjoyed in the garden with a pot of earl grey, of course that’ll be at least three cookies to taste to compare flavours, although to be honest they all look the same, so it could be worth testing just a few more.
