The Farmer is Three! A Firefighter Party
It’s been planned for some time, definitely a fireman’s party. This weekend The Farmer turned three, it’s getting confusing now, is he becoming The Fireman, if so what will The Fireman become?? Anyway we had 8 little ones in total, luckily we could use the garden as the weather wasn’t too bad. I get stupidly excited about party planning, this was no exception. Here’s what we did. I painted a number of fire engines to hang about the place. Along with a toddler size Fireman Sam for photo opportunities. Painted two large flames for targets. To go with the targets sewed together 16 water droplet shaped beanbags. So the party games consisted of throwing the water droplets beanbags at the targets.
Pass the parcel (of course)
Completing the firefighters assault course
Throwing water balloons at targets
Finally blasting water at the targets with these awesome water blasters, which each child took home as part of their party bag!
Party food consisted of wraps, crisps, sausage rolls, lots of sausage rolls, tyre cakes, cookies, fiery jellies (using this recipe) and vanilla ice cream. The cake was a fire engine, what else could it be?
We had a lovely time (apart from when The Farmer vomited all over the rug, sorry everybody!) Thank you to all the parents who braved the chilly weather and bravely got soaked by their children, or was it just my children soaking everybody? Sorry again!
