Chocolate dipped chocolate biscotti – Sunday Bake Club
- 200g plain flour
- 60g cocoa
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 225g caster sugar
- 3/4 tbsp ground coffee
- 60g dark chocolate chopped
- 3 eggs
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 100g dark chocolate for dipping
Heat oven to 180c. cover baking sheet with greaseproof paper
Add flour, cocoa, baking powder, sugar, ground coffee and the 60g of chopped chocolate together in a food processor.Blitz until well mixed, Add eggs and vanilla and blitz again until mixture comes together. Roll dough out on floured surface to make a log shape. Put on baking sheet ad bake for 25 mins, then remove and turn the oven down to 150c.
Let the chocolate log cool then cut across at an angle to make long slices about 1cm thickness. Place the slices flat on a tray, no need for greaseproof paper and bake in the cooler oven for 30mins. They shoud be quite hard when cooked.
