Burton 10k

I ran the Burton 10k a few weeks ago, I didn’t enjoy it, doing the last lap around the athletics track was fun though. But it’s another 10k done and quite a nice t-shirt to show.  There are more lessons to be learnt, mainly that I should stop entering hilly runs! Time for this run was 57min5secs, 3 mins off my best time.  I need to get back into running now the boys will be back at pre-school, hopefully I’ll start enjoying again soon.  Next race is the Donington Dash, 5km with hills!

Do I look happy? I’m actually hallucinating about gin and chocolate brownies.
